To the touch they can barely be differentiated, but the repellent version has a water-repellent treatment that repels water and does not allow moisture to pass through. For example, in the toiletry bag, if you put drained wet swimsuits, the moisture will not transfer to the outside. If you wet the fabric, it will stay damp but it will not bleed through and it will dry faster.

In the medium NON water repellent model, the side is darker than the water repellent version.
